Rochelle House

The Cancer Care Centre at Rochelle House in Springfield, Chelmsford, Essex, was the first of The Helen Rollason Cancer Care Centres to open. It is designed to provide an environment of peace and tranquility for all visitors. Established in January 2002, it provides approximately 200 treatments to clients each month

The Centre incorporates a drop-in policy where visitors are welcome to come in an relax in the lounge without an appointment. All clients are given an initial assessment before commencing treatment.

All the services provided at our cancer support centres are wholly funded by the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity and provided free of charge to our clients.

There are four treatment rooms where the following complementary therapies are available by appointment.

* Counselling - An opportunity to explore the feelings and emotions in a

confidential relationship with someone outside family and friends.

* Art Therapy - Exploring feelings within a group setting through painting

and drawing.

* Writing Therapy - Expressing feelings through writing and friendly

atmosphere.

* Aromatherapy - Use of essential oils in massage, inhalation and

scented baths to enhance relaxation and relieve tension.

* Reflexology - A form of foot massage to reduce symptoms of pain and

sickness.

* Bach Flower Remedies - Diluted flower remedies taken orally to reduce
